Neptune Pacific Direct Line announces latest addition to its fleet

Neptune Pacific Direct Line has announced the latest addition to its fleet, Capitaine Tupaia.


Picture her in Busan before she commences her journey to New Zealand, arriving mid-September. She will join NPDLs network and trade between Auckland and Tahiti. 

The naming of this vessel pays homage to the historic navigator Tupaia, a Tahitian Polynesian navigator who joined James Cook’s Endeavour during his visit to Tahiti in 1769.

Neptune Pacific Direct Line offers liner shipping and supply chain services to and from 16 countries and 22 ports in the south pacific, including Fiji (Suva and Lautoka), Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga (Nuku’alofa and Vava’u), Tahiti, the Cook Islands (Rarotonga & Aitutaki), Norfolk, Kiribati (Tarawa and Kiribati), Tuvalu, Wallis & Futuna, Solomon Islands and Majuro.
